Four new teams (Poulton Park, Hurlston Hall, Hart Common and Sutton Hall) were admitted in 2002 and the league format changed to a 2-year cycle. Mossock Hall Golf Club was subsequently admitted in 2004. Grange Park resigned from the league at the end of the 2007 season, reducing the number of teams to 10.
