EGU
Event at Woodhall Spa This of you who may have been wondering why Mike Weaver is not playing in the Club Championship this weekend (16/17.8), he won our EGU Gold Medal competition back in June with his course record and qualified to play in the main event at Woodhall Spa (home of the EGU). After round 1 on the Bracken course Mike is a mere 3 shots off the lead! Watch this space for the final result tomorrow. |
Summer
Social Event The summer social event has been moved to Saturday 4th October. Subject to confirmation the October medal will be on the same day (as opposed to the Sunday morning after the event). |
Presentations Due to fact that many members have been failing to collect their prizes after major competitions, in future they must either be present or nominate someone to collect their prize, otherwise the prizes will not be awarded. If prizewinners cannot attend they must also give their apologies to the relevant person (usually the Captain). |

Rectory
Trophy Members are reminded that the Rectory Trophy is now the official "Masters" trophy. Only past major winners (including current year) qualify to compete for the Rectory Trophy. The current number of qualifiers is 41. A list will be published before the competition for members to confirm whether they are taking part in the competition at the end of September. |
